Thanks for stopping by my site! You can call me Steph, or my notorious nickname Stezzy, I love talking photo ideas & am going to tell you a bit about myself and my niche in photography.

 

I am a San Diego native and Southern California based photorapher that has always had a passion for creating and capturing art and memories through photography. My interest in photography started at a young elementry age and has only blossomed into being inspired to continue to create photographic art from behind the lens.  

 

I learned photography from both of my grandmothers and one of them taught me the ins-&-outs of how to operate a film SLR camera, the beauty of a darkroom for developing and perfecting images & even how to matte, crop, vignette and batch process my negative, all before I was in the Third Grade! For most of my school career I was known as the person who ALWAYS had a camera and who was capturing the moment, and with the memories I still have from that, I am proud that was what I was known for.

I became an award winning photographer of the Todd Longstreth Photographic Arts Award in 2016, and has also won other awards throughout my life for my photography and dedication to creating inspiring photographs. (Fun Fact my first award was at 8 years old, in the county fair-- I won first place and was immediately inspired to keep sooting). My work has also been published many times and published international, and every opportunity has been absolutely special to me. 

 

I own two photo businesses: Stella Luna Media & Hellcat Honeys and with some projects I work as teams with assistants, other photographers (for large photo projects and events), as well as stylists, and hair and make-up artists when needed. Stella Luna Media Music is a music blog I adore where I get to showcase concerts through photo and blog reviews.

My favorite things in life are: Music, Concerts, My favorite Podcasts, My Two Dogs, My Two Cats, Swimming, Redbull, Coke a'Coloa Slurpees, Horror books, Bats, Leopard Print, Pepperoni Pineapple Pizza, Alternative Fashion, Fun Hair Colors, Fun & Fancy Makeup, Kat Von D 'Bow n' Arrow' Matte Lip, Black Tea, Antique Tea Cups, Writing and.... OF COURSE Cameras of all sorts and Photography! 

My dream is to own a collection of great, working, film cameras of all sorts and especially a double reflex camera!
